Huawei is preparing to unveil the Watch Ultimate 2, its next flagship smartwatch, and the first official-looking renders have now surfaced online.
Courtesy of WinFuture, the leak reveals that Huawei isn’t reinventing the wheel with its high-end wearable, but it is adding some meaningful upgrades where they matter.

According to the report, the Watch Ultimate 2 will retain the same 48.5mm case size as the first-generation model, so it’ll have the same wrist presence as before. The major change, however, seems to be under the hood.
Huawei is also expected to use a silicon battery in the Watch Ultimate 2. The brand also uses this technology in the Huawei Watch GT 6 series, which delivers up to 21 days of runtime in power-saving mode.
The leaked images also reveal something new on the right side of the case: a set of additional sensors. Their exact purpose is not yet clear, but they resemble the X-Tap control setup that Huawei has used previously.

In terms of style, the renders show two color options—an all-black variant and a dual-tone blue model. Both carry the rugged, premium look that Huawei’s Ultimate series is known for, with a large AMOLED display expected to return as the centerpiece.
As with the first Watch Ultimate, the price won’t be gentle on your wallet. The Watch Ultimate 2 is rumored to cost around €899 (roughly $1,055). Huawei is expected to officially announce the device on September 19 in Paris, alongside its Watch GT 6 lineup.
